DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (2016) – Personal TV Series Review

Pilot Episode Premiere (Season 1 Episode 1)

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is a spinoff TV Series coming from the successes of both TV Series, The Flash and Arrow. The new band of heroes under DC’s Television Universe is an addition to the ever growing TV and Cinematic adaptations of superheroes or characters from comic books.

It is a good idea to put them in another TV series apart from where they originally shown as their characters are as famous and important to be put to waste.

Legends of Tomorrow started good with a solid story line. The story was told neatly and effectively which is easy for the audience to understand. If you are an avid follower of both TV Series, there isn’t a need for further explanation or development of each characters or the plot itself. However, there was a little introduction for them to refresh our memories. It was a good thing each characters were given ample screen time. The CGI / visual effects were edited and done smoothly. It was impressive to see it was realistically made. The pacing was fast and engaging with a light to darker tone and the action scenes & sequences are spot on.

All in all, the first episode of this new series greeted us with a bang. I will rate it 4 out of 5 stars.
