This horror comedy flick, which was released by Paramount Pictures, somehow entertained me just a little bit, again, a bit! As always, the plot and casting were just as cliched and obvious as the other zombie-themed horror comedy movies like Cooters, the chemistry of the lead cast especially the three friends isn’t that compelling enough to merit a squad-goal ambitions but there were at least two or three scenes which bought me for being hilarious. The effects were realistic enough and was visually gory and cinematography added some touches to make a bit grim and dark. I hated the scripts though as it wasn’t well thought off, maybe because they were only relying on zombie fight scenes and raunchy references.
I don’t mind having this kind of genre but it would be better if they do it intelligently so it will become more engaging and interesting to the movie goers. I will give the movie 2 out of 5 stars.
