Gotham Season 2, Episode 2
I was really surprise how good this episode was. It was well made full of gritty and dark scenes plus the consistency of the characters acting and the good screenplay made the episode shine this week. But it would be better if they will not forget to include other characters as they already gave flavor to the series like Penguin.
I love how they are slowly starting to focus on the new villains to better understand their characters more and how will they impact the series but one character really stood out from the rest for me and that was Jerome AKA The Joker (in the near future). The actor did a fantastic job in giving justice to the character, I mean he fitted perfectly and embodied Joker with all his nuances, crazy antics and that contagious laughter. The episode is really all about this guy as he stole the show.

Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3 Pilot Episode
The pilot episode started with a bang as they focus on exploring the Inhumans with new discoveries of those who were modified or being bio-morphisized. We got to see that Daisy, AKA Quake, already has control over her powers and that’s a good thing but I still can’t feel Chloe’s acting chops especially during acting scenes but it is forgivable as she looked cool with her new uniform. The effects were better now and neatly done. They are still dependent on giving reference to several MCU movies like Thor: The Dark World, Captain Ameria: The Winter Soldier but gave more emphasis to the Avengers Ultron incident. It was understandable that new characters doesn’t have proper introduction as we still have lot of episodes to cover and explore these new faces.
The plot was good for a first episode, it was well executed and scenes & story lines were connected neatly. I didn’t see some familiar faces but this episode showed you the cast are getting closer now since their chemistry and rapport onscreen are evident already. The cliffhanger ending also proved that even in the TV universe, Marvel doesn’t like an important character to die and there is always a way to bring it back to life, or sort of.

Scream Queens Season 1, Episode 2
The story isn’t that appealing as the pilot episode but it is enjoyable to watch. The first few minutes of the episode almost made me ignite my irritation button for having those cliched ‘blonde’ stereotype and security nonsense. It is most likely that this series will go to a path of becoming an extended TV version of the movie Scream.
It is typical of Ryan Murphy to be gender sensitive in this series, I mean all his series are LGBT sensitive. I love how feisty Jamie Lee-Curtis’ character and I can see Jane Lynch aura in her character.. Hmmm! about it, Lynch can also be perfect for that role. Their banters are hilarious at one point and there are times when it was too much that it became overacting. Emma Roberts’ acting is very consistent and I felt like this series was made for her. Lea Michele is perfect to be a psychopath-in-the-making and all characters complimented each other. It is good to see more character development and fast pacing as we are treated with clues this early about the killer because some dark secrets are slowly unearthed and reveal and most of the time, every character has motives to kill anyone in the series. It was a solid second episode and I am starting to get intrigued on who is the killer.
